Excel Training Sessions
Mastery of Excel and other spreadsheet software is essential for a career in accounting or finance. The SFIMA has partnered with the Oakland/EastBay IMA chapter to form ExcelInAccounting, a community group promoting Excel knowledge and skills for professionals in the accounting and finance fields.
ExcelInAccounting promotes skills primarily by offering a Saturday morning Excel Training Sessions about once per month.
These 4-hour sessions cover advanced excel skills specific to accounting and finance, such as:
- Pivot Tables & Lookups
- Excel macros
- Chart building
- Statistical analysis
- Discounted cash-flow
Sessions are held alternatively in downtown San Francisco and Oakland.
4 hours of CPE credit is available for session attendees. Saturday morning sessions are available to SFIMA members for a discount. Check the ExcelInAccounting.com website for more details.
